Compatibility

How it works?

The Constant Hot Water Module Is our latest creation for maximizing convenience while using our water saving devices. The CHWM has been designed to work with all our complete systems. By electronically triggering the pump ONLY during a schedule that is set by the user. A KASA smart plug is provided with the CHWM to allow said schedule to be set.

For DEAD END Systems:

During these set times the pump will be triggered every 15 minutes for 3 seconds. If the Bridge Valve is open (cold) the flow monitor will keep the pump running until the bridge valve closes (has reached 95 degrees). If the bridge valve is closed (at temperature) the pump will run for 3 seconds and then return to standby mode. This cycle will repeat for as long as the CHWM has power.

For DEDICATED RETURN LINES:

The CHWM will work in nearly the exact same manner as with the DEAD END system but the 15 minute timer will need to be changed to a longer interval to compensate for the 3 minute run timer of the DRS. Please call or email customer service for a full walk through of how to adjust the CHWM.

It is recommended that the Kasa Module schedule be set for the most common hot water use times such as morning and evening or when showers are taken or washing dishes.
