How It Works

Cycleau’s compact size and plug-and-play assembly allow it to retrofit below sinks and showers to treat greywater. Our product’s compact size and retrofitted design can reduce installation costs by up to 75% and maintenance costs by up to 80% when compared to traditional greywater systems.

Drain pipes below sinks can be easily detached to redirect greywater through Cycleau. Once operating, wastewater passes through a sediment filter, two membrane filters, and a UV bulb to fully treat contaminants.

Why do we recommend installing Cycleau below every appliance?

In many older buildings, internal plumbing can pose just as much of a hazard as aging distribution mains. Retrofitting water treatment units directly at the point of use can eliminate all potential sources of contaminants for the user. It’s also much easier and more cost-effective to connect supply lines and drain pipes at these locations, rather than re-plumbing for a whole-building unit.

How It’s Installed

Installing Cycleau can be done at home without contracting professional plumbing services. Both sink and shower models are designed for low-cost, easy installations without removing any walls or flooring.

Installing Cycleau below sinks simply involves disconnecting the p-trap and faucet supply lines from their original connections.

Installing Cycleau below showers simply requires disconnecting the showerhead, faucet and handle from their original connections, and placing the wall mount unit on top.
